It is now common knowledge that the FCA are now considering a PPI claim deadline, which means you may well now only have a limited time to claim back your mis-sold PPI policy.
Under pressure from banks and financial institutions the Financial Conduct Authority is seriously considering implementing a claim by deadline.
However, this will effect customers who have not yet claimed. If you have had a loan, credit card or mortgage in the last decade, then the chances are, you are owed a refund.
The PPI scandal was originally predicted to only last 18 months and this was over half a decade ago, so in producing a clear end date, it is hoped those who haven’t yet claimed will be pushed to do so.
The banks and lenders, combined with the FCA will fund an multi-million pound advertising campaign alerting customers to the fact they may have an outstanding refund.
